I'm old enough to know better...

Hi everyone.. So 28 year old mother of two boys (8 & 7) here. After my 7 year old, I went on the IUD (copper 10yr). I had it taken out last may 2006 b/c my hubbie and I wanted to try for another. So it's been a year now of actively trying and still not pg. I am beginning to think something is wrong with me??I have always have regular periods to the DAY each month. Same day each month, up until March of this year. I was 3 weeks late..So I'm thinking YEA I'm pregnant, but the two tests i took said no and then my period came a few days later, so back to square one.

So now one week shy of TWO MONTHS late, lots of lower back pain, and ALWAYS tired.. still no period. I took a pg test Thursday afternoon but came up with a negative.

I don't know what's wrong here. I am old enough to know better.. to know my body and just feel like somethings not right. Anyone have the same thing happen?

Dr's apt is on Tuesday but it would be nice to have any info. from someone else out there.

    Thansk in advance...

Not meaning to frighten you but could it be a etopic?Because a pregnancy test would nto show up on a etopic only a blood test would confirm this, but as you havent had any blood loss im not sure.
You did the right thing to get an appointment

You did do the right thing by going to the doc....
And for your piece of mind. If you are two months late then it is NOT ectopic and ectopics do show up on HPT they just show up later and if it were ectopic you would know it within the first 6 weeks of pregnancy.
I know this because I had one several years ago and tested pos on a HPT and it ruputred at the 6th week.
Today is tues..how was your visit? Im actually having a similar prob and have an appt tommorrow and would like an idea what i should expect.
