    Ovarian Cysts

    Hi,
I am a 27 yr old mother of 2 young boys. 3 yrs ago i was diagnosed with PCOS. I then got pregnant with my first son. After he was born I was never checked again so I assumed I was better. Didn't have any problems. i have since then had another son and still never checked. About a week ago I started having abdominal pain, there is a constant pain that doesn't stop but is bearable now, and then ther is also an extremly sharp pain that lasts for about an hour or more and completly paralizes me. 2 days ago I finally went to the ER and was checked out. I was assuming that it was my coils I had placed in my tubes for birth control called essure. However, I am not so sure now if they affected this or not although never any problems until these were put in. Anyway the ER doc did an exam and said that there was something wrong with my cervix but he is unsure as to what until he gets the cultures back and that will be 2-3 days. Today I went and had an ultrasound done and was told I have an excessive amount of fluid. She asked if I had ever had cysts problems. I told her about the PCOS and that it hadn't been checked in years. She said the fluid is from rupturing cysts on my right ovary. However, My actual doctors appt. isn't until monday so I can actually hear results from him, and definatly by then they should have the culture results about my cervix as well. I am just really scared because I have had HPV before my first son was born and that hasn't come back since then but was in my cervix when I had it. I guess my main concern is these rupturing cysts are killing me the pain is horrible and I have days to wait to see my doctor and thats hte earliest they have available, and this unknown problem with my cervix. I feel like I have received half answers so far and am concerned about getting all the answers I am seeking.
Has anyone else went through this that can give me some advice?

I haven't gone through this personally but I know a woman who had to have ovarian cysts removed after being in a lot of pain as well.

It was a day surgery and she recovered quickly afterwards.

Did the doctor give you anything for the pain while you are waiting for your results?

No they told me to take ibuprofen bt thats it. The pain is now making me so sick to my stomach that I do get sick and am having problems eating. I get to go see the doctor monday now and I hope that they have all my results back. this waiting is horrid.
