    Fertility Confusion!!

Hi everyone...I am kinda confused... at what point in a cycle is a woman most fertile? I think i read somewhere that it is two weeks or half way into a cycle, but then somewhere else it said that it's about 2 or 3 days before a period... I guess it's probably different for every woman... but what is the general norm?
Thanks in advance for any responses...

Two weeks from the first day of your period is about the time your egg drops and you are most fertile. Good luck!

Actually, karale's reply is only accurate if you have a precise 28-day cycle. To truly understand your body's cycles and accurately chart your ovulation, I recommend _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. This book was recommended to me by a friend over a year ago and I've found it incredibly informative.
