    Can anyone help please????

I think i posted in the wrong area last time so copied it here.

hi i am not sure if this is the right place to post but i had a polyp removed in my cervix (it was not in the womb like they though and did not do a D&C as it was in the cervix and they could see the end of it) under GA about 4 months ago and before that my periods were every month and quite heavy and redish. after the surgery i was bleeding for a few weeks and it was red and brownish. now since the surgery i have not had a "normal" period. last month i got brownish stuff for 14 days with no red blood or clots and this month i have the brownish stuff again no red blood or clots and the brownish stuff is very irregular. sorry to be so graphic and i KNOW i am not pregnant! Is my body still healing or has it gone on strike because of the surgery?

I am very worried now as i has pcos with hormone imbalance and want children if if i am not bleeding then i am not ovulating i think. it seems since the surgery my periods have gone and i do not know what to do. can anyone help as i am starting to panic?? ps i am 23 nearly 24 and on no birth control. i am over weight.

Brown discharge is old blood/old uterine lining, basically it just comes out whenever it wants and not in the regular fashion like in a normal predictable period. The discharge happens to all women at some point. You can go back to your doctor and let them know about the irregular periods, being put on birth control can create a regular cycle again.

All you can do then is talk with your doctor.
