Light periods for 3 months?
I have been having a period every month like clockwork for the last 11 years, and never--not ONCE--have they ever been light, until this January. January, February, and just last week--all three have been really, really light. Like, don't-need-a-tampon light. During February, it stopped four days early. I just put in my NuvaRing on Tuesday night, but Im a little concerned that these could be warning signs. Is there a possibility that pregnancy could be an issue? If so, could the NuvaRing cause a miscarriage? Im trying to keep this to myself for now and not worry my boyfriend, but I need to know what to do. Anyone got some advice? -
I called and made an appointment with my doctor, but wasn't able to get anything sooner than the 21st. I guess I should actually include all the relevant information. He was sitting next to me last time, and I was in a hurry.
For January: light, ended 4 days early
For February: light; was on antibiotics (amoxicillin) for the entire week
For March: almost non-existent; could have gotten by with one of those light-days absorbency tampons
I dont know if amoxicillin would affect NuvaRing, but Im going to assume it is like any other BC, in which case I know where I might have run into a problem; we had sex one day after stopping my antibiotics, and I never even thought about it *facepalm*
My pharmacist recommended that I take an HPT before I remove my newest Ring, since they are $70 and I havent even had it in a full week. So I will be taking a test first thing in the a.m.
Told my boyfriend, BTW, and while he says its worrisome, he hasn't mentioned it since. Typical guy
