Helloo everyone this is my first post! Just want to tell you a little about myself before I start asking questions.
I am 25 I have two little girls aged 3 and 18 months both born by c-sec. I have had Mirena in for 25 months and am getting it taken out April.4 due to problems.

I have been having problems now since early Oct/2010. At this moment my IUD is sitting in the lower part of my uterus (it kind of fell down) and I have a 4cm cyst on my right ovary (this is new). I have been bleeding now for almost 3 weeks my periods have been irregular since Oct, coming early, and heavy. Right now I am still bleeding heavy enough to need a pad. I thought I was having my period at the start (it started around Mar.5) and it was light. It lasted for 7 days, it stopped for a day than I had spotting in between and than started bleeding heavily like a period last week. Just when I think it's going to let up I go to the washroom and i'm still bleeding fresh blood.

My questions could this be from my cyst? Could it be that the IUD has punctured my uterus or is irritating my cervix? I'm not having a lot of pain, some light cramping/back pain off and on. I am just soo confused and I just wish I knew what was going on. I have never had problems like this before. I am about ready to have this uterus taken out! LOL any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks so much ladies

get to the gynocologist asap, there could be any number of reasons for ur probs. It can most likely be easily treated. Get it sorted before it gets u down to much

I forgot to mention I am going in for ultrasound most likely next week but will try to get in on Friday to check the IUD and cyst. I just saw my ob/gyn and am scheduled to go in April.4. I am sure if there's anything that shows up on ultrasound that is alarming he'll get me in sooner. It's such a PITA.
