    Yi help!

    Hey all,

I have come on here because like so many others that I have read, I am completely going crazy by having re-occurent YI, UTI'S, AND BV infections. They started about four years ago. I would get YI's and BV at the same time and I feel like where it has gotten better, it has never FULLY gone away.

The past year I've been plagued with UTI's and now I have a yeast infection again. I don't have insurance, and I am also a 21 year old student with no money. I went to planned parenthood to get a free exam, and she gave me the one day diflucan that did nothing.

I eat healthily, drink plenty of water, eat yogurt, have a faithful boyfriend, keep it very clean down there, take cranberry pills, and it still hasn't gone away. It's been here for three months this go around, and it's starting to take a toll on my relationship as well. I want to be intimate it's just so painful!!!

There were some articles that I read about drinking Kombucha, and how it helps fighting candida infections. Is there any truth to this? I know that fermented things, and sugar are terrible for yeast - which Kombucha has both. I also read that it is the good type of yeast that balances out the bad yeast?

The last thing is that I know it's a yeast infection, but I only have a thin white discharge, not a thick cottage cheese discharge, but it is white. There is not unbearable itching, but definitely feel waves of it through out the day and also when I urinate or try to have sexual intercourse. I've also used Monistat in the past (2 years ago) to no avail. Should I give it another go?

Helpppp pleaseee! I am so tired of this =[
    Advice?

definitely worth a try... I know kombucha is supposed to be very good for the digestive system and for the immune system! and anything you can do to help out those two things will really help with your problem. I wouldn't worry about it making the problem worse at least!! have you been on an anti-fungal for the yi and it's not helping??? What all did they test for at planned parenthood?? also try taking vitamin d, folic acid maybe cutting out all dairy from your diet. Feel Better!
