I've just recently turned 15 years old. My last period was in December and hasn't come since. Just recently, about two days ago I noticed some sticky brown discharge in my underwear. It has become heavier and lighter and fluctuated over a 3 day basis. I noticed a little bit of red blood mixed in with it, too. I have also experienced some cramps as well. I am not sexually active or anything. Could this be my period regulating itself or something? I am a little worried, actually.

Brown, sticky discharge
Hi!
I have the same question! However, I am 27 years old and I AM sexually active. My periods are very regular and are exactly every 30 days except last month it came a few days early and it was only for 1 day. My period should be here in 2 days and today I noticed that after I wipe from going to the bathroom there is a sticky light brown discharge on the toilet paper. I don't recall this every happening before. My periods are generally very short, typically only 2-3 days long but I've never had this brown, odor-less dishcharge after urinating. I am a student and don't have insurance to go to the doctor so I was wondering if anybody has experienced this before and if it something I should be concerned about? No matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow -Maya Angelou -
Greengirl: I forgot to add... I am not sure about the brown discharge, however, being that you are still pretty young, it is very normal to have irregular periods for your first couple years after getting your period. And spotting of blood is normal at a young age, especially if you are not sexually active. No matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow -Maya AngelouComment
