    Lactating but no pregnancy

for almost five years i have lactated, old news for me i guess but i was just wondering if anyone has ever experienced anything similar.

    -ive never been pregnant
-no tumors, ive had the MRI
-never showed high levels of the hormone prolactin that causes it, which is related to the tumors.
-endocronologist came up with a blank (he said the only reason i had the MRI was due to my GP thinking i had high prolactin levels in the second blood test but they came back on a different scale and she read them wrong--so thanks for the unnessasary tumor scare doc)
    -not related to any meds

but for some reason i have for years now. every time i squeeze my breasts, a very thin white and sometimes a little opaque liquid comes out. even smells and tastes like breast milk (weird comment i know but i have very young siblings so was always aware of all of that stuff--hippie mum)

basically hundreds out of pocket at the time for no answers and still it persists five years later. when it first happened, after the tumor scare, i would squeeze it so often i could get like two feet of air, pretty funny and used to freak my friends out lol but now i just check it from time to time and its just a few droplets.

anyone else experienced this or heard/know of anyone else experiencing this?

Do you get a great deal of nipple stimulation? Or did you when this started? It's definitely possible to lactate without pregnancy, women who adopt babies do it often.

Stop squeezing it out - with lack of stimulation it should go away, but it could take a while.

I stopped for months at a time and still do but whenever I check it after a long period of time it's still there lol

Mine leak sporadically, no shooting distances since pregnancy, but throughout the month, I can squeeze and generally get something. I've asked my Dr about it and nothing has ever been abnormal during any of my exams.

In my case, it is more than likely stimulation. If you have sensitive nipples, even things that you don't think would be stimulating would be enough to stimulate. For example, other than the standard "sexual" type of stimulation, stimulation can also be from clothes, bras, etc. Whether pleasant or not, it can still be stimulation.

Sometimes I've noticed that it increases based on my hormonal fluctuations during the month.
