    Pelvic Pain

I have been having pelvic pain for the last 2 months with fluttering in my lower stomach & pelvic area. It feels like it do when you're pregnant and baby is moving. But negative blood and urine pregnancy test. My menstrual is regular and on time each month. My gyno ordered transabdominal & transvaginal ultrasounds for pelvic pain & gallbladder. She called after she got the results and said my gallbladder was negative and my pelvic area was all good. But i was still having pains so I got a copy of the reports on my own. I'm no doctor but something don't seem right about the report. Here is a copy:

Findings: TRANSABDOMINAL: The uterus measures 11 x 5.1 x 6.0 cm. The endometrium is 1.1 cm in thickness. No definate myometrial masses are noted.

The right ovary measures 2.5 x 1.9 x 1.7 cm. The left ovary measures 2.5 x 2.2 x 1.5 cm. There are multiple small follicles in both ovaries. There is no evidence of an adnexal mass or free fluid.

TRANSVAGINAL: The myometrium is heterogeneous. Several small fibers are noted in the anterior and posterior fundus. The largest posteriorly measures 0.9 x 0.9 x 0.6 cm. The endometrium is 0.7 cm in thickness. The right ovary measures 2.5 x 2.1 x 2.0 cm & the left ovary measures 2.8 x 1.8 x 2.5 cm. There is no evidence of an adnexal mass or free fluid.

    IMPRESSION:
    1. Enlarged fibroid uterus with 2-subcentimeter fibroids seen in the anterior and posterior fundus.
    2. Normal appearance of the ovaries, adnexa and endometrium

If I was pregnant would it had of showed up on one of the ultrasounds? The only time me & my husband had an accident with the protection coming off was in march. Which would have made me months.

The medical report is gibberish to me, but I am sure that a pregnancy is viewable on ultrasound as early as 6 weeks. Maybe even earlier.

Yes, it would have been very blatantly obvious.

Your report is fine, all the parts saying "no evidence of ______" or "normal in appearance" means everything checks out and medically they cannot see anything wrong. The fibroids occur in all women so they are not uncommon to see. Not much can really be done other than you monitoring yourself and taking some mild OTC pain killers however trying to find something wrong when the doctor clears you can create more problems simply due to stress.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.

        Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback! I'm a little at ease now. I take a Aleve for the pain just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything major wrong with me. I think I more so scared myself trying to read my results like I'm a doctor!
