Was I raped?
I have obsessive compulsive disorder and for years I have been suffering it,I know my thoughts are stupid but I can't resist them, and taking meds for it,I have obsessions about rape and I'm scared of being raped all the time,it was the same when I was younger, when I last stayed at my friend's home the next day I had a skin irritation like burning in my private areas, but not inside my vagina,it was my menstrual period and I was wearing a pad,and this question eats me out for weeks,I'm not a troll or something,I'm virgin and if I had been raped would I have noticed it when I woke up?even if I had been passed out?my friends told me that if I had been raped,I would have noticed the pain inside my vagina, not outside,is it true? -
I think that your OCD and your obsessive fear of rape are going to need to be addressed by a professional. You don't want to live your life in that kind of emotional state. It is rational to protect yourself from iffy situations: not drinking from open containers or accepting open drinks from people you don't know, never leaving your drink down and out of sight and returning to drink it later around peoiple you don't know or in public bars etc. Thats cautious, but still rational. Choosing to not go home with men you don't know, choosing to have someone walk with you when walking/running... using a buddy system in remote or dark areas... rational. Thats just methods of awareness and prevention. Waking up worried you've been raped for no reason at all, is detrimental to your overall well being.
If you woke up disoriented... like you were hung over and didn't drink , if you feel you may have been drugged, its important to seek a doctor and get checked out, especially if you were around people that could have taken advantage of you. But if you just wake up with a skin irritation on a normal day, its fairly irrational to first think rape, someone entering your body would wake up the lightest of sleepers unless you were drugged, and that being the case you would feel the drugged up feeling at waking up, I am pretty sure.
Seek help for this fear, especially since you know you have OCD, let your diagnosing doctor know about these new fears.Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going. -
I didn't drink something that night and didn't wake up as hang over, but I still wonder what if they made me pass out with a knockout spray or something like that
I didn't wake naked and my clothes were on the right place, but in this situation I thought that they could have dressed me again
and I didn't have skin irritation when I woke up,I woke up,prepared for school, and get on the buss, after 1 hour, when I was walking,I felt an irritation between my bottoms and down, but not exactly vagina area,I was wearing a pad for my menstrual period and 1 week ago before the irritation,I did wax for my private areas, and my dr said that if I had been raped,I would noticed the pain inside my vagina, not outside is it true?

There is no such thing. It comes in pill or liquid form, you must drink it. Waking up and thinking you were raped is a huge irrational jump from having normal menstrual rash from wearing a pad. When you wear a pad your skin will become dry, it will be irritated at some point. Being at a friend's house and having that rash does not mean you were raped. You would be bruised, cut, and obviously hurt if you were raped, a normal rash is not a total indicator of rape.I still wonder what if they made me pass out with a knockout spray or something like thatThere are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

It's very likely that you weren't raped, but very likely your mind is playing tricks on you. As HD said, you need to see a professional to keep these thoughts from becoming disruptive in your life.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

Yes you would have felt pain, inside, outside all over. Rape is not a gently thing, it would be very clear that something was not right. You would be bruised in that area, you would have cuts, it would be obvious that something INSIDE was not right. A slight irritation from your pad is not an indicator of rape. Unless you were in a compromising situation like heavy drinking at a party with people you do not know there is really no reason to think a rape happened especially if you were at your friend's house and no one was there that you did not know. A rash does not mean rape.but I still wonder if I had been raped, would I have had a skin irritation, and it it had been ,would I have felt pain inside my vagina? There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

yes english is not my native language but I remember the word after u saying ''rash'' ,all of my friends told me that it has nothing to do with rash, and you don't have a rash after sex.but I'm virgin and I don't know how it feels after sex,or if it had been raped, how would it be like

Skin irritation can be caused by many things. It can be caused by soaps, splashes and lotions. It can be caused by pollen or smoke. It can be caused by laundry detergent. It can be caused by oils, such as poison ivy, mineral oil with additives or mold release agents. It can be caused by just trimmed hair. And it can be caused by many other things. Because the skin can be very sensitive in the pubic area, it can be irritated whereas other areas are not. The pubic area is also subject to high humidity and clothing rubbing which can intensify irritation.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.
