    discharge confusion

So, I have white vaginal discharge daily. It is not too think, but not watery either.. I don't have any symptoms of a yeast infection or anything else that I am aware of .. no pain, no itching, etc. But I shower daily and notice its accumulation in my vagina daily.. not a HUGE amount, but definitely enough to notice. I am not sexually active either, so I know its not an STD. This has been going on for several months that I know of for sure, and I wouldn't be surprised if it has been going on a lot longer than that.. (I only became fully aware of this after I started shaving down there).. Anyway, I am not sure if this is possibly a problem or if I should see a doctor or if this is normal?? But its embarrassing.

This may or may not have anything to do with it, but my period is highly irregular and always has been. Sometimes it will skip a month entirely.. and it is never consistent like most of my friends.

Any ideas what this could be?

Hmm..I know it's normal for all women to have vaginal discharge, even when they are healthy. It depends on the part of the cycle as well, try to keep track of it through your cycle, you should see changes in it that coincide with ovulation. When you're in your most fertile state, discharge usually increases. Sometimes though if you are just someone who has discharge, wearing a little panty-liner can save you trouble. Have you talked to your doctor about it? Sometimes it's hard to recognize an infection without a doctor's opinion.
