how can i get rid of my period forever? i, 18 and i have a heavy flow and i ride horses and when i get on everyone can hear the crinkling of the pad and that is not ok. i cant use tampons and my whole family is falling apart and im so sick of my period. i dont want any babies and even if i do i will adopt. im not going to overpopulate the world. i also work at hienens and you can see the pad threw my khaki pants and that is also not ok. im sick and tired of the nasty pads and the smell and everything. it is useless and i haate it. please help?! sorry if i made anyone mad or anything im just so ****ed off. i apologize

Go talk to your doctor. At this point, there are some hormonal birth controls that you can try, but that may be dependent upon your insurance. I'm on Implanon, and haven't had a period since I started it. I hear that some of the IUD's are the same way, but that they also hurt quite a bit to have put in, especially if you've never had kids. Talk to your Dr and see what they say.
