I went to the bathroom today and when I wiped there was a jelly-like discharge on the toilet paper. It was like a clearish yellow. It didn't have any odor. I don't want to gross anyone out, but it wasn't like a mushy discharge, it literally was like jelly, it stuck together. Anyone else experience this or have any clues? I have about 17 days before my period begins again.

Jelly-Like Discharge...?
Hello,
I went to the bathroom today and when I wiped there was a jelly-like discharge on the toilet paper. It was like a clearish yellow. It didn't have any odor. I don't want to gross anyone out, but it wasn't like a mushy discharge, it literally was like jelly, it stuck together. Anyone else experience this or have any clues? I have about 17 days before my period begins again. -
Your body will discharge liquids in different consistencies and amounts all day every day. A lot of women simply do not notice because it can be a small amount, and other times it can be more. The most common reason is simply changes in cycles, especially ovulation where it can look like egg whites. There will be different discharge rates during all different parts in a cycle. There is no real concern unless it persists in large quantities, has a foul odor, or has an obvious discoloration like green. Faint colors are normal and due to fluctuating pH balances along with concentrations, so a faint barely visible color such as a slight grey-ish color is normal. A problem will occur if it suddenly becomes a large jelly-like mass of dark yellow or green. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

When you're younger it is a bit more than when you get older. Your hormones are a little out of wack. I remember having lots of discharge, but eventually it evened itself out. As long as it doesn't have a strange color or odor, it should be normal. If you're really concerned then talk to your doctor about it. They will probably check your for yeast infection and BV infection (You can get that from too tight of underwear, poor hygiene, using scented soaps or cleasing clothes, having sex with a new partner, etc.)Comment
