What exactly does she say her cycles are? Meaning, having a period bleeding everyday for 3 months or having several mini periods in succession in a cycle pattern of bleed and no bleed? Or is she saying she is simply moody in cycles? There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy. -
Has she gone to a doctor to discuss this? If so what did they say? A period so infrequently is due to hormones being out of whack. Birth control pills can help with regulating an otherwise irregular period. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

If she is coming on and off of the birth control Nuvaring it will cause periods to go out of sync because the body was used to seeing the birth control there and then it is gone. When you stop using it your body shifts over to trying to regulate things and that can take a lot of time hence the irregularity. So if she is using Nuvaring it is important that she keeps using it regularly as prescribed. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment
