Please help!! I am sure this is a hormonal problem

Hi and thanks for taking the time to read this.
For the last two months I have been feeling really off. I am sure this hormonal. My symptoms are, moody, crying all the time, no sex drive (which really isn't me), my right breast is swollen and very sore (pain goes under my arm pit) and I am tired like really really tired. I am falling asleep all the time which is hard with three young kids.
I am sure acutally positive this has to be hormonal. My Dr keeps asking me about depression cause I suffered depression in my teens. I know within me this is not depression I don't feel depressed at all.
Can someone please help me with advise on how to help the symptoms and how to get my family dr to run some tests.
    Thanks in advance

Good for you for being in tune with yourself and not allowing your VALID symptoms to be treated with anti-depressants. I think you need to be addressing this with your OBGYN, not your family doctor. Tell your OBGYN about your breast soreness going under your arm, he/she will definitely want to check that out (or at least they should). They can also check your hormone levels. Don't depend on your family doctor for this.

Have you been having normal periods? Are you on birth control?

      Thanks for your reply.
I was suppose to be seeing my Gyno on thursday but had to reschedule. My dr did do blood tests and is sending me for a scan on my breast. I still a little ****ed off because she still thinks its depression I honestly don't believe it is. She wants me to keep a journal over the next three weeks so she can see what sets my moods off. I think she is forgetting about all the other symptoms.
I spoke with my mum about it today and she had similar symptoms when she went in to early menopause at 26. She went in to menopause 6 months after getting tubes tired.
To fill you in on my background I had tubes tired in feb this year and a edemterial ablation in september. I have very bad pain from ovulation to period which I need to take endone at times to stop. They were hoping if they could reduce the bleeding they could reduce the pain but that didn't work. I never had heavy bleeding until I had my tubes done.
I have regular period and not on any birth control
I just know with every part of me it is not depression I just need these blood tests results to show something up to prove to the dr what I am saying.
