    Are these UTI symptoms?

    Hello ladies!

i just have a quick question about uti's i've heard a lot of women experience them so i hope one of you can help.

About two days ago I started having this sort of burning sensation when i pee (right after actually) and although I've been going to the bathroom more recently I attribute that to my increased intake of water. when I pee, it's a clear color. so far i haven't experienced much pain besides a random (and occasional) pain in the lower abdomen (barely recognizable, less than cramp). No bleeding, and no fever-like symptoms.

Are those things enough for a UTI? My symptoms have definitely improved since yesterday and I've taken some Alka-Seltzers(ive heard theyre good for uti's) and, like i said, I've increased the amount of water i usually drink 10X.

Any ideas if this is a UTI? any stories that can relate? Thanks so much for all of your help!

It's possible. Usually, when I get those symptoms I just take some cranberry pills (as directed on the bottle you buy) until they go away (usually 1-3 days).

As rosekitten said, it's possible, because that is a symptom, but it sounds like that's the only one. When I had a UTI I had that uncomfortable feelings of still having to pee even after I just went, and my pee was very cloudy (mostly in the AM) and had a foul smell. Do you think it's possible to have an std? If not, it's most likely the first signs of a UTI and if you start taking those Cranberry pills it might clear it right up. Good luck!

Hi there! For some, just a slight burning is the only indication of a UTI. For me, when I had it before its mimicked a yeast infection(odd). You can take several cranberry pills a day or purchase D-Mannose to see if this will help stave it off. it not you can always drop off a sample at the doctors.
