ok so i've been getting thick white discharge for about 2.5 years. there's no smell or itching or any irritation. when i had my papsmear done the doc said i had a bit of a yeast overgrowth. i tried to treat it twice, i tried two different creams, but neither worked at all. so i'm wondering is it a yeast infection or something else??

Is it constant or only at certain times of the month?

it's pretty constant and it randomly gets heavier and lighter throughout the month

Are you on any type of BC? If not, have you ever been and when did you go off of it?

yeah i've been on BC (yasmin) for just over a year, but this has been happening before i started taking BC. i don't think it has really made much difference in regards to the white discharge, it's pretty much the same as it was before i started taking it. hmm

I was thinking that if you were NOT on bc, and perhaps had gone off of it 2.5 years ago that maybe you're just experiencing cervical fluid during fertile times. But if you are on the pill, you're not ovulating, so that's not likely the case.

Do a search on here for Bacterial Vaginosis. There seem to be a lot of women experiencing similar symptoms as you.

my BC is nearly run out so i'm gonna have to see a doctor in a couple of months anyway. just so sick of it lol and it's embarrassing!!
