I had sex about a month ago with a guy I have no interest in being in a relationship with any longer, and I've missed my period. I have been pretty stressed lately especially with being afraid of missing my period. I have taken two different pregnancy tests and they both said negative, but I still haven't gotten my period. I have never been on birth control, but was planning on getting on it when I got my period. First do I have to wait to get my period for me to start the birth control (it's Seasonique)? Secondly is it possible I just missed my period for the month?

You would be about 3 weeks along so the pregnancy test would most likely be right. I have missed my period before, it happens often. You can miss a period for many reasons.
Could be due to weight loss or gain. If you are underweight you could be missing a period, or even if your overly obese. If your really athletic or newly athletic you could miss. STRESS!!! Stress is the biggest reason people skip a period. A hormonal imbalance can also be a cause to your missed period.

If you are really worried I would suggest go to a doctor to take a pregnancy test, their tests are very accurate.
Also if you miss again I would go to a doctor about your hormones cause hormonal imbalance can actually cause serious problems.


If you are pregnant...that does not mean you have to have a relationship with the father. (keep that in mind)
