Okay, My period has been normal until March of this year..
I used to be on the depo shot because my periods were very heavy & abnormal.
I've been off of it for a year now..

On March 13th -19th was a normal period but then I started my period again on the 31st until April 5th & then I started the 26th of April until the 30th.
In May, my period was normal again had it from 19th - 24th but my period symptoms were intense.
In June I started the 23rd - 29th
less than a week later I started again on July 5th and I still have it.
I'm not sure if I should go back on birth control.??

And in case if you are wondering, I am sexually active

I've been on the depo shot.. before i was normal & regular. I dont know about you but, I had 2 shots then decided it wasn't working (emotions all over the place) I went off it and it took a good 6months for my periods to get back to normal - they were seriously irregular I dunno how long you were on the depo, but could be why your irregular ...? Just a suggestion Otherwise, maybe go see your doc and see about the pill to sort things out?

Hello ladies: My advice would be to not go back on depo (I am against using birth control and drugs to manage periods due to the "side effects" of the drugs). Instead, I would suggest eliminating dairy products (which have a lot of hormones in them) and if you eat meat to reduce the amount and choose hormone-free versions if possilbe. Then, reduce, as much as you can any processed carbs, such as bread, rice, grains, etc. Instead, replace with fresh fruits and find a way to dress up steam vegetables so they taste great. Processed carbs contribute to hormone surges and declines.
