I have undiagnosed pelvic pain. It's a complete and utter medical mystery to my doctors or any medical professional I've sought help from, and the number of people I've seen are growing (general doctors, ob-gyns, and er docs). Sex had been a normal and pleasurable thing for me for many years until roughly a year ago when it became uncomfortable but tolerable. Recently it escalated from uncomfortable, to unbearable. It feels like someone is literally taking a sword and stabbing me, my uterus aches and it hurts worse on the right side sometimes more then the other. The pain will continue hours after the sex is over as an ache, and it'll hurt to sit up and down and walk. I have had BV in the past, and was treated. As the pain increased I returned to the doctor thinking it was BV returned. The pelvic exam went well, and I came up clean. The pain continued and it got to the point where I couldn't take it and ended up in the emergency room for the pain. There they gave me a urine test as well as an in depth pelvic exam. They ran over 50 tests for STD's, PID, mutated BV, and every other disease in the book. I came up negative for everything. I left that night with a needle in the butt, and no answers. The pain only occurs and stays after sex. It's coming to the point where I don't even want to have sex anymore and it's really discouraging that I'm not finding any answers anywhere. What's wrong with my vagina? Why is sex so excruciating? Will I ever be normal?

My vagina is broken.
I'm turning to this website as a last alternative. I'm starting to give up hope.

When you orgasm, the muscles in you your vaginal wall and surrounding your utereus spasmatically contracts and flexes. If you haven't had an ultra-sound or MRI, ask for one. It could be that you have fibroid tissue on the outside walls rather than inside. Or, polyps or scar tissue from childbirth or infection etc. You need these tests to help rule ot some of the obvious reasons for you distress.
In my daughters case fibroid tissue adhered to her utereus, enveloping her ovaries and wrapped around to the backside of the utereus and adhering to he bowel. The pain was unbelievable but at first was only minor discomfort following sex. It just got worse and worse as time went on.
It's worth checking out. That which we forget may as well never really happened. -
