    Question about vaginal odor?

Im sexually active with the same guy for 3 years, so Ive been getting yeast infection and sorts for a while. Ive seen doctors, but antibiotics only work for so long. So I looked up home remedies and found that I could soak a tampon in apple cider vinegar and keep it in for an hour or two. Just an added thing, I only have the fishy smell, no itching or burning or any other symptoms. I get it all the time especially after sex, and no matter what I do, it wont go away. I wont do feminine washes since I heard that can make it worse. Ive tried plain yogurt, but its just too messy and it didnt seem to work anyways. I dont want to depend on medications either.. How long before the ACV should work? Its effecting my sex life and social life. My boyfriend doesnt seem to care, but its embarrassing. Thanks.

After you have seen the doctors, what did they say about your condition ?

You mentioned you dont use feminine wash so what do you use to clean up after sex ? How about the daily cleansing ?

Not sure how effective is acv on you but you should try a few applications before determining if it works...

Does your guy clean very well to keep from infecting you after treatment? Maybe your guy and you should go in to the doctor together. Also, if one doctor isn't effective, find another.

What did the doctor say. Did they test for Trichomoniasis? Its the most common infection and a large number of yeast infections are often Trichomoniasis that is misdiagnosed. Men usually don't get sympsom, so its possible that your partner keeps reinfecting you.

Another questions. You say it doesn't bother your partner. Could it just be your natural odor? Maybe your are more aware of it once you started getting the yeast infections. Is this something that you didn't have before?

Also, antibiotics often cause yeast infections. Your doctor shouldn't be prescribing antibiotics for an yeast infection. It is usually treated with an anti-fungal agent.

Your vagina should never have a "fishy" odor. That is a Red Flag for an infection. What did your doctor say????
