I am 24,been on and off the pill since i was 13,always had regular periods,only changes are from a 28 day cycle to a 31 day cycle. But this year i have been all over the place. I am now on a mini pill,had a period 2 weeks ago and had brown discharge everyday since!!!

have you been on the pill or off the pill during this last year? It is perfectly normal to have regular spotting when getting on or getting off the BC pill. The hormones in the pill are tough on your body to get used to being on, and tough on your body to get used to being off of.

I wouldn't be too concerned about the spotting/brown discharge. But if it is something you really are worried over, talk to your doctor about it!

The doctor of mine said it is very common And said it can last up to 3 months. No worries! Relax and give your body some to adjust.

Its been 3 weeks all together now of blood and brown discharge. I spoke to the local nurse and she has advised me to stop taking the pull because i was having the bad side effects of the pill and ovibiously it wasnt agreeing with me,im tempted to either try another pill,coil or just have a break and use condoms for a while????

that's entirely up to you Sammi! Some women have great luck switching to a new pill, others find that no BCP works for them so they use non-hormonal options.

It all depends on if you would rather be on the pill or not. If you think it's worth trying another one, go for it! Or talk to your doctor about some other options (ring, implanon, depo, etc...). There's a lot out there!

Well i just dont know what to do!! The doctors cant see me until next week so ive got plenty of time to think about it! On sunday i was even thinking coyld i have had a miscarriage???
