    Ky jelly mishaps?

This may sound strange but I was wondering if anyone has had a bad experience with the KY heating jelly. The day after sex I have this awful sensation that I need to pee. It can last for a few minutes or painfully all day. I went to the dr and don't have any STDs or an UTI. I wonder if the sex is too rough or too much. I just came to this conclusion today and will stop using the KY. Has anyone ever had this happen to them?

Many women find that the react to ky jelly. Look at the ingredients. Glycol is a common irritant. I've heard good things about Slippery Stuff.

      what it is you needed?

What in a product was you looking for? I have heard something from someone I know who had a bad reaction with the KY warming liquid too...Pure Romance has an awesome line of lubricants, including warming ones, but it depends on what you are looking for.

Yes! KY Heating Jelly made me do the same thing and it turns out I got a yeast infection from it!

I had the same thing happen with the KY warming! Although for me it hurt me sooo much at the time, all the burning!!!, that we ended up having to stop right away!

            KY warming lubricant burn

I used KY warming lubricant and ended up with burns of the entire perineal area. The gyn has since treated me for vaginal infection( tho it was external only), cortisone based ointments to heal, and now( 3 years later) is sending me to a dermatologist for a skin biopsy. He is also changing treatment to estrogen based therapy and suspects I have lichen sclerosis. I contantly deal with inching, burning, and painful coitus. The skin cracks or erodes very easily and urination can be very painful.
My advise- stear clear of warming lubricants!
