Ok so there's a few things that happened before this weekend that may be relevant. First of all, for pretty much the entire last month I had a very frequent urge to pee, like once every hour or two. That went away so I didn't think much of it. Second, sex has been fairly painful for the last few weeks. Again, didn't think anything of it because I thought it was just from frequent sex. Third, during sex I got this very thick white discharge that I had never seen before. Finally, didn't think anything of it because it only happened during sex and my boyfriend and I just assumed that it was because of enjoyment.

So fast forward to last Friday. I woke up and had the intense itching and a little burning. I've had a yeast infection before so I pretty much self diagnosed and went to get some Monistat 3. The last time I used Monistat it pretty much worked right away and was gone the next morning. This time it didn't do much for me the first night. I know, I know, you have to wait for about a week before it completely clears up. However, today I woke up, after the second day of using the Monistat, with new symptoms. The burning during urination got much worse, and now I'm having this constant feeling of needing to pee, which I know is a symptom of a UTI.

From all of your expert opinions () is this a yeast infection? A UTI? Both? Could it be a bad reaction to the Monistat? I'm in total and complete agony right now and I'm trying to decide if I should wait this out for a few days or miss class tomorrow to go to a Dr appointment.

Symptoms in men include a rash or itching on the penis.

When you " self Diagnose " next time get a Yeast infection Over the Counter ( OTC ) test from your local Pharmacy, Walmart, Walgreens , Kmart , Rite Aid . Anywhere that they have a Pharmacy.

A Product called Vagisil can be bought for about $12. There may be some Generic Brands you can get that are less expensive. Always read the Directions and follow them .
The Monistat should not " Hurt " you, but before treating yourself for Yeast Infection , Make sure it is one and not Something else.
There is also AZO Test Strips, you can take a UTI test at home safely and simply, then call your doctor with the results. These are also OTC . That can be bought at Target,Walmart & Walgreen .

I was in the ER in late May,for Heart related Problems. They told me I had a UTI, they diagnosed it from my urine sample. I had NO Symptoms at all .. It was a Surprise to me for Sure. They prescribed a Medication, it was $30 for 20 pills. I asked for lower cost instead of " Brand " and they said that the Generic could give me a Yeast Infection and then I would have to treat that too . I Coughed up the $30. lol

I was Back in ER for Heart Related Problems this past Monday. I asked them to take a Urine Sample to check for the UTI. They did, All was well . The First treatment worked .

I am sorry, but it sounds like you do have a yeast infection. Itching, vaginal burning and vagina discharge are very common candida's symptoms. In order to get rid of a yeast infection, you must eliminate all root causes of it such as mercury, high sugar diet, hormonal imbalances and use of birth control/antibiotics. Thus, you have to clean you body from mercury, stop eating food containing sugar and take anti fungals. UTI/Yeast Infection?? In dire need of some help..

I would suggest go to the dr and get swabs. It might be both but if the cream is not working it might not be what you think it is.

I use to have reoccurring Utis and found taking cranberry tablets helped relieve the burning when peeing sensation, it also helped restore some balance.

I have a long history of both and they are not fun. The quicker you treat it the correct way, the faster you recover and not be in pain.

when i did it hurt reallly bad!!! i told my mom and she took me to the doctor, i took a urin test. the doctor came back and told me there really wasnt anything but maybe a slight infection she gave me a three day course of antibiotics, the next day i noticed some itchy bumps between my vag and thight. now i have them all over my pubes area, and one on my inner lips, they dont bleed or pus they just itch when it gets moist and burn a little. oh and the opening of my vagina hurts.. the side clostest to my butt hole... some of the bumps are drying up but then a couple new ones show up at first i thought they were just ingrown hairs but now that i have one on my iner lips where i dont shave i dont think they are... peeing doesnt hurt anymore but i still have the bumps!!! i was diagnose with low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion,, and hpv but because it is low grade the gyno didnt do a coloscopy. what can this be do i have genital warts or what?!!!

Definitely i think you have yeast infection not a UTI. I am feel really bad when someone have yeast infection or any kind of fungal infection because it is so painful disease that's why i want to become a good fungus doctor and invent powerful natural home remedies for any type of fungal infection.

Okay I'm going to skip all the steps, everyone should know what bv is by now and if not there is a ton of info you can look up.. most likely if you're reading this, you assume you have it. Along with the vaginal issues, i constantly feel gassy, bloated, always sore.. muscles, joints, sometimes have diarrhea, sometimes constipated beyond measure.. never really had that issue before. Biotin (is believed to help to control ingested sugars and carbs)
Fresh Green Black Walnut Wormword Complex (Herbal Supplement, Liquid, Parasite detox!) Nasty tasting, but well worth it. 1 dropper full 1x a day before bed and i wake up to a healthy bowel movement.. I know this does the trick. Going to start 2x a day today.
IT WORKS GREENS DETOX (Includes black walnut, wormwood, and alllllll kinds of other detox and healthy supplements, it's all greens and healthy healthy fruits.) 2 scoops in 8oz water or juice 1x a day. I have Orange flavor.
Diatomaceous Earth Powdered Form (Removes parasites like razor-blades, also good to treat any animals you may have) VERY IMPORTANT FOR PARASITE REMOVAL! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! No taste to mixture. 1 TBSP to 8OZ water I do it once a day right now. Like I said, it's better to start off slow.

For Hygiene a lot of people suggest a 50/50 HP(hydrogen Peroxide)+ Spring Water Douche... this is good however, you must add a little ACV(apple cider vinegar), not to much or it may burn. Why you do this is because the Spring water is neutral on the PH scale verses Tap and distilled is only sometimes.. the HP kills bad bacteria, fixing the Power of Hydrogen (PH), and the ACV replaces all the good bacteria that the parasites are causing you to loose! I did this wash prob. 4 days in a row... very drastic changes!

ACV EXTREMELY GOOD WITH ACNE!

I also Purchased a homemade TEA TREE OIL GLYCERIN SOAP. I have noticed a drastic decrease in my armpit odor. And I only wash my Vaginal area with my ACV+HP+SPRING WATER. Even if I don't do the douche I still wash the outside with it. Absolutely no smells of any kind coming from down there anymore!

I have not gotten the opportunity to try it myself but, COCONUT OIL, very good anti-inflammatory. For your skin specifically or even to include in your diet! Learn benefits by looking it up, add some keywords like bv, vaginal discharge, yeast infections, parasites, ect. You can learn a lot by adding choice words to your search!

Also, one evening I did a Suppository of Vitamin C 500MG, woke up the next day.. had a little discharge later not much. Same with Folic acid, I did this the next night, for one night only each though. This took the smell right away and I have been able to keep it away so far 2 weeks later.

Another recommended product is "Pearls YB" it's a yeast balancing probiotic, high reviews. I have a few family members that take this and have recommended it to me. They use it on a daily basis. I have also read about it being used a suppository.

I feel better everyday though, flushing these PARASITES out of my body is so refreshing. I cannot wait!

Most people don't fix the underlying problem to their bv, just continuously cover it up for the rest of their life. NO THANKS! I will remain healthy after all is said and done, but I want to feel comfortable in my own skin again!

**Mooncup (for periods, tampons and pads are toxic, using tampons could cause you some serious setbacks because it **allows the bad bacteria to sit in your vagina for long periods of time, not good.
**Goldenseal (detox- pill form or could be drank as tea, known to be bitter)
**GY-NA-TREN (Found at GNC)
**Multi-Vitamin should be in your daily regimen as well
**COLON HYDROTHERAPY (I want/need to do this, locally it will cost me $70, this will flush EVERYTHING including **PARASITES from my body! Candida as well if it is present.
**Liquid Chlorophyll (Taste like minty sweet tea, do not get Liquid Chlorophyll ES, this is EXTRA SWEET, NO GOOD! **Chlorella has a much more potent form of the Chlorophyll which is top ingredient and has more to offer).
**FLAX OIL 3 2x a day is recommended, I started out that now down to 2 or 3 a day.


XYLITOL toothpaste could also be your downfall-known to cause disruptive issues in candida cleanses.
