The first one is always the scariest. Not that they're painful or anything like that, it is just weird. I get it, we've all been there. Once you've done it a few times, it just becomes routine.
And typically the doctors won't have a problem with you having someone in there with you. Just explain you're uneasy and would like some moral support. -
That would be a great idea, wish I had thought of that! If it's a male gyno they always have a female nurse in there and honestly I didn't feel comfortable with that...it would've been much better to have a female friend nearby.Comment
