    spots on labia

hi, i was hoping someone might be going through the same thing and could help me out.
i have red spots on my labia , not many , about 6 or 7 on each side, some are tiny bumps but a couple are more red and slightly more red. they are not itchy or painful in any way ,they are just there and are unsightly.
i've been to the nurse and she didn't know what they were, neither did my doctor.
i've been to my local std clinic and had blood and urine tests done and they all came back negative, they sprayed some freeze stuff on to test for herpes and warts and that was negative.
she wondered if it could be an allergic reaction so i stopped wearing pads, i only use dove to wash which i've used for years and i take anti histamines, no change.
could this be hormonal? when i was on my period it looked like they were fading. I am on microgynon.
can anyone please help before my boyfriend notices them and i die of shame

I don't know what they are, but it sounds like you're taking appropriate steps to investigate and the std tests have come back negative so that's good news! I just wanted to give some support.....there is no reason for you to die of shame!!! If we all get embarrassed over every mark or bump on our bodies we'd be a sad group.

it could be, from what i've read about them being flesh coloured and appearing in a line it could be that. you'ed think a doctor would know this.
        thanks

saw a specialist today and he said it was down to shaving , the follicles had become irritated and infected, so he put me on a 2 week course of antibiotics, have to go back in 5 weeks to make sure it's cleared up
