HELP I've been on my period for 4weeks

I'm 24 years old and 4months ago I stopped taking contraceptives during this four months I did not go on my period and now they've lasted a month, at night I don't bleed but during the day it varies some days I don't bleed as heavily as others. I have have blood clots everyday, sometimes my period will stop for two days and then come back. Recently they had stopped for 3days and I had sex and the next morning I woke up bleeding. Its been 2weeks now and I haven't gone on my period but my nipples are tender and usually that means I'm about to go on my period again. Please help

So are you saying you've been off your period now for 2 weeks? It sounds like you're probably ovulating right now or just finished ovulating (hence the sore nipples). Perhaps it's just taken a while to get your normal hormones back on track and your cycle leveled out. Hopefully so, and if that is the case, and you have just ovulated, you should expect your period within the next 12 days or so.

I am so sorry you are going through this pain and worry.

As I tell everyone here , You need to go see a Doctor.
As much as we wish , we are not Dr's. We cannot Diagnose , we can only try to give some " we've been through or this has/ hasn't Worked " Advise.

It is frustrating for me ( being almost 60 ) to see how many women are on here seeking Advise and Help over Birth Control and Pills and Pain and STD's and Am I pregnant . It's scarier from the time I grew into womanhood .

Not frustrated at you personally or any other woman, but the Dr's and Companies that make these pills are what is so Frustrating . There is a new pill and new name for the last pill that is better or Enhanced or " had to be recalled and remade ".

That the Dr./ Patient relationship is Now , " Hey Try This " , with no Tutorial or Warnings or Explanation, Discussion, Questioning and Answering.
It is take these , come back if problems occur. And by that time allot of damage could be done.

If the Dr's and Women would at least read the Instruction booklet that come with the Pill . They may have a few more questions about which one is the best for the patient . More directions to contact Dr. if you feel this or that .

But these days , Try this pill , then try that one, then, wait for something not to be right , before seeing if trying the Newest one may be better . If one causes more Cancer than the other or more Blood clots or more risk of Death from Hormone replacement , is now like playing Russian Roulette with your life.

Trust me the Pharmaceutical company's will find a new " pill " to offer, for Birth Control.
And that is what worries me. They aren't studied long enough.

Condoms are a fairly good Birth Control so far . But our " men " don't like them, so the Women risk their lives and the Natural Flow of our Menses. The natural hormone balance in our womanhood and take a " pill " to avoid a Pregnancy .

Interesting to say the Least ?

Thank you ladies. I probably am ovulating now but I've been to the docter for the same problem 2yrs ago and I even had an ultra sound done and he said everything looks normal and they suggested I go on the pill to help control my period and the pain I suddenly felt. When the pill didn't work I started using the injection which stopped my period completly but I take iron and folic acid as well. I'm just worried that the next doctor will give me the same response as the other and just tell me "everything looks normal I suggest you go on the pill".
