Hello there,

I'm a 20 year old girl and I am in a monogamous relationship with my boyfriend. I was tested for STDs a few months ago and everything came out fine. Unfortunately, I have never known what is normal. Recently I've been starting to have itching and pain down there. I think it might be in my head but I am not sure. I've also had some water/white discharge. A lot of it. The strangest symptom I've had is that a few weeks ago I had sex with my boyfriend and when we were done I noticed he had white little clumps coming from me on his penis. They looked like tiny wet toilet paper pieces or like little lint fuzzies. We actually thought it came from the sheets at first.

My most concerning problem is that I have a lot of bumps over my vagina and labia...I have no idea if it's normal. My vagina opening looks pink and normal but with tiny little bumps all over but my labia has a lot of ridges and bumps that are a bit more concerning.

Any insight is welcome!

Have you been to a gynecologist? Itching, pain and bumps may be an allergic reaction. The white clumps sounds like skin shedding.

No, I haven't. My gynecologist cancelled my appointment and I haven't been able to reschedule. i am going to be on exchange for university for the next 6 months. I will go to my primary physician before i leave and I hope she can give me some insight as well.

Is skin shedding normal? Do you what the causes could be for it?
