discharge is keeping me from living my life!!!
I'm 17 years old and since i was 5 I've had vaginal discharge. It has always been yellow and rarely ever came without oder. Its completely disgusting and not a single person i know has gone through this (aside my mother and she has no answers either) i can't go anywhere if i don't have access to a bathroom. When we run out of liners due to money it has even stopped me from going to school it's so bad. I feel like this is preventing a lot of opportunities for me. I'm going off to college this fall and i dont want to have to deal with this sort of embarrassment with my dorm mates. I dont want to have to hide out any longer. Does anybody have any ideas? Is there some sort of medication or home remedies that i could try? I would be extremely grateful for anything. -
Yep..my first step if you have not already done is would be to go to a gynecologist and get checked out. I have seen women on here post about discharge before, but I'm not sure what the outcome ended up being. I mean, we all have it, to some extent but not typically to the point of causing emotional distress. How much would you say you have a day, in comparison to say an average menstrual flow?Comment

This sounds like a bacterial infection. If it is your gynocologist or Dr. can prescribe an antibiotic to clear it up. It is normal for women to have some discharge, but it should not be yellow with a strong odor. Normal discharge is usually clear or slightly white in color, and it is usually odorless.Comment
