Hi all!

This morning when I woke up, I went to use the bathroom and when I wiped I noticed a giant blob of brown vaginal discharge.
I haven't had a period in 3 months and I heard that usually brown discharge happens when you have irregular cycles.
Is this the start of a period? I am really hoping so!
I'm so frustrated with my body! LOL.

Hopefully its getting ready to come. If this persists, then you may want to see your gyn. Having a giant blob of brown discharge (old blood) sounds like your body isn't discharging the lining before it oxidized. Keep us posted

Can you give them a call and talk to the nurse and see what she advises you to do?

I'll definitely keep you all posted! I haven't seen any blood yet; just little strands of brown.
If I don't get it by tomorrow, I'll call the doctor and ask for an appointment with the gyno!
I've never been to one... yikes!!!

Having a gyn exam is not that bad. The best thing you can do is try to stay relaxed. Tensing up (though natural) may cause slight discomfort. Let us know if you have any questions

Thanks so much! As of last night, I started light pink spotting, so I'm guessing that this is going to be the "on-set" of a period.
Been feeling the usually symptoms of back pain, nausea, and being sleep deprived!
Let's hope this is it and no doctor appts. will have to be made!

Fingers are crossed for you. It's kinda sad when we start doing the happy dance because mother nature has finally decided to show up, but that is part of being a female

I'm so frustrated! Because now there is no pink spotting just clear discharge.
What does this mean ? My friend told me that it's happened to her and that the cycle usually comes back with a full flow in a day or two.
I'm so annoyed with my body .

It sounds like you should go ahead and make an appointment, just to be on the safe side. The dr. may want to put you on bc to get you regulated. Your cycle may show up in a day or so, but this is causing you a lot of stress and concern. We want you happy and healthy
