How can you tell someone not to worry when there is obviously something wrong!
When you feel something is Wrong, you seek answers.

When you go to a Dr' or Friend or even site like this.. We can only Direct you back to the DR. or the Proper DR. that is why there are now Specialists .

Years ago, it was see the DR.
From Colds to Cancer .. Now we can see others that don't only know it's a Cold or Flu, but can Determine if, your sinus or lungs or glands are working together , COPD, and other issues .

Though it is nice to have Alex here, it seems that ( He/ She) is in the process of obtaining a " Professional Degree " .. Congrats on that .

I will let you know, that after 50 odd years of Panic and Worry over every Little thing that used to be Big things to me , I am here, I am Educating myself, I do Not Worry if I will Die, I know I will someday, I just try my best to make sure .

    1) it is not Painful
    2) it will not be a long drawn out one that leaves my Kids and Nation Bankrupt .
    3) if I can help others I will. And I learned that Specialists are Specialists for a reason, they study hard they learn and pass tests, they ask questions and most of the time can know the answers , If they Don't they pass your case on to one that does know, at least better or more than they Do

Also Blaydyn's Mom, Remember you can Psych yourself out, very Easily .You seem to have all the tests, that say you are " Fine", try not to worry, sometimes stress and Worry can get your " System " off Kilter .

Just enjoy your Son every day and Soon you won't worry much about you, you'll worry more about him .
    ~On a Note at 47 ~
I was worried because I didn't have Periods on time .. It was just early Menopause

Thank you for the 411 on it
It helps me get motivated and energized and curbs my appetite before I was so tired I would have to take a nap during the afternoon and I was getting nothing done. I been taking it in the morning and by nighttime i cant wait to go to sleep! I been excerising a lot and it makes me feel good I would just like to lose maybe 50 to 70 lbs which was my pre pregnancy weight. I do not want to use it forever just until I achieve that goal also I realize that I have to keep up the excerise after I lose the weight. To me it kind of feels like taking concerta which is a ADD pill that i took for years but after I took myself off of it it all went down hill so to have this kind of energy and focus again is amazing!

Thanks for the kind words, it is nice to be appreciated.

FYI I am very much a male entity. OK so I am also in touch with my feminine side (I care about strangers and love to help people to help themselves), but at 225lbs and 8% bodyfat at 5'10" I am very muscular and lean, so yes, 'all man' here.

Anyway I got my professional degree several years ago and now I call myself a 'Human Performance Consultant', simply because with my depth and breadth of knowledge relating to the human being, I cannot really 'pigeon hole' myself as a chiropractor or personal trainer or massage therapist or spinal specialist or nutritional therapist or Nootropics expert or supplement designer. All of which I am more than proficient in.

          Anyway enough about that stuff

I have to say that your stance on 'not worrying' is one that I personally support and wholeheartedly advocate. There is NOTHING to be gained from 'worry' and lots to lose (your sanity for one).

Instead I recommend that people become the master of their own condition through personal research and learning. That's what happened to me; I injured my back deadlifting in the gym, so I ultimately decided that I should go back to university and study chiropractic, so that I could truly 'heal myself'.

Anyway, I feel like I might have done a 'mini hijack' of this thread, so I'll be quiet now.

          Alex

That is quite perceptive of you because concerta and geranamine are very similar, both being closely related to amphetamine.

I don't know if you have heard of modafinil (or armodafinil which is the latest generation and slightly cleaner in effect) but I take 1/2 a tab 4 days per week along with some EGCG and 1 capsule of neurostim. This really curbs my appetite without giving me jitters or insulin resistance. It also cuts down my rest intervals in the gym, allowing me to stay really focussed and keeping intensity high throughout training.

Even 50lbs is a huge amount of fat to lose, so I wish you the very best on your quest (rhyme not intentional!). Might I suggest that biltong (etter than jerky because jerky usually contains addes sugar and sodium nitrite) makes a very useful tool in your fat-loss arsenal because you have to chew it thoroughly, which tricks your brain into thinking that it has had something substantial to eat, even when it has only had a few little bits of dried meat.

Green tea is your friend during weight loss because it switches on the AMPK pathway which initiates fat oxidation (fat burning). Water is also your friend since it keeps the blood flowing freely, allowing transport of fatty acids from stores into the mitochondria where they can be utilised for energy.

Wow closely related to amphetamine! I wish my doctor would have told me that when he put me on it at 8 years old.
No I have not heard of it but ill look into it and thanks for the advice ill be sure to start drinking some green tea also
It may seem like alot of weight but I have done it before I want to at least be 145-150 because that is what I use to be and that's what a person that is 5ft 10 inches is suppose to weigh. Lol

Yes and even worse it has similarities with cocaine.

There is a whole debate on whether ADHD etc are actually 'real' conditions or simply made up by the pharm giants. Irrespective of that, I personally consider it a crime to prescribe these sorts of things to the juvenile brain, but there we are.

Wow, so you lost 50lbs or more once before? Kudos to you, though also a small slap on the wrist for allowing yourself to backslide so badly

Best of luck on your quest!

Yeah I took myself off concerta at 15 but then my grades started slipping lol I could not handle a classroom anymore and dropped out at 17 lucky for me my mom insisted I did homeschool but I digress concerta completely changed my personality and it turned my hands a purplish color!!

Yes I have loss a whole bunch of weight before! I went down to 120 one time my doctor said I should at least be 145 and I did it all playing DDR!
