Hi all, lately I've noticed my vagina has been dry and the discharge that has been there smells like fish and vinegar. My period is 3 days late and I am not sexually active. Is this the onset of a period or a vaginal infection?

I'd say vaginal infection but what color is the discharge?

Usually any fishy discharge is associated with a bacterial infection

I don't feel like I have an infection, though I assume one does not always know when they do! If I experience any more symptoms ill post .

If it is any other color than white or clear its probably an infection but as you said its white but it does not normally have a fish odor unless a infection
