    menopause at 44 ??

    Please tell me it isn't true? Anyone else out there like me? I haven't had a cycle in a year and a half...stopped after losing my mom to cancer...help!

    ...Menopause generally starts after you turn 40 or somewhere around there. I mean... It's life.

    And I'm sorry about your mom. T_T

      Hi Pam.

      I'm 'in your age group'. It hasn't started for me yet (at least I don't think it has), but menopause can start for a few women in their 30's and, for the majority, in their 40's and 50's. It's not abnormal to be in menopause at 44...all women are different. Have you seen a doctor? You can have your hormone levels tested to see how far along you are in 'the process'.

      I'm sorry that you lost your mom.
