Brown Discharge
Hi, last week, I had some bad stomach cramps, and yesterday, I noticed some brown discharge, and I just dismissed it, thinking that I may have had diarrhea. Today, I noticed it again, only A LOT darker. I'm twelve, and don't yet have my Period, so I'm wondering if it was my period starting, or if it could be something much worse. I just was kinda worried when I saw the brown, at first I thought I'd crapped myself! but then I realized it was discharge.

Brownish discharge occurs when vaginal fluid and blood combine. This may simply be a hint that your period is over at times. Your menstrual period ends with a normal brown discharge. Both before and after a woman's menstruation, brown discharge may be present. Basically, the color change is due to aged blood. This is quite normal and will pass in a day or two. I advise visiting your fertility specialist or doctor if it persists.Comment
