    Never ending period!

I am starting to just lose my mind! This is more of a vent than a question, I suppose. Although it would be nice to know if anyone can relate in any sort of way, or has advice to help me better deal with the situation? I have been on my period for a little over a month now and it is making me so bonkers. I already take birth control. It started when it wasn't supposed to, and when it first starting it was so incredibly heavy. Now it is light, but it simply won't go away!! My gynecologist is having me change to a new birth control as soon as the one I am on is set to finish, but I am having such a hard time being patient with it all. I feel so disgusting and it makes me crazy hormonal! I really hope that the change of birth control helps. The brand he is switching me to is supposed to help women who have heavy cycles. But I have been on birth controls that claim to do that before and they do nothing! I am currently having a moment where I envy women who go months without having their period.
What is even more bizarre is that whenever I take my antidepressant it seems to make my period worse. So I'm not taking that anymore. I will have to ask my doctor for a different brand or something? I have looked online to see if anyone has had that problem before and I haven't found anything. I would have talked to my doctor about it sooner, but I just don't have time in my schedule for that. Hopefully soon I can get that taken care of. If not I am sure I can handle life without the antidepressant. My depression isn't severe, it is just constant.
It would be nice to know if anyone else has had that sort of problem?
