I have been bleeding since Super Bowl Sunday. It started normal I have pretty light periods and then 3 weeks ago it got out of control. Through my tampon, pad, underware, and pants in 20 mins!! I am now on my 4th box (the big box) of tampons. One...when I use pads it is even heavier, does anyone know why that is? I have extremely low estrogen/progesterone issues and I am only just out of my teens. I have been on the Wiley protocol and an estrogen patch. Which helped my mood swings immensely. Then this period happened. I saw my gynocologist after 2 weeks and he did a Pap smear and I guess it came up negative. He just said there are lots of blood clots. On top of everything I ended up getting a horrible stomach flu last weekend. Although the actual throwing up and diarreah have ceased, I am still extremely naucious and can't eat a thing without feeling that way. I have lost 9 lbs in this past 3 weeks that my period has been out if control as well. Now to top it off I am so exhausted and weak it's not even funny. I feel so pathetic. I'm the type of girl who wants to do it herself. I couldn't even pick up the box of my save the date cards :/ if I walk to much I'm completely our of breath and having an asthma attack. My anxiety is through the roof as well. (I have severe anxiety & asthma) well yesterday I finally got my ultrasound exam done and my doctor will tell me the results tomorrow. But I don't want to wait, I saw a glimpse of my uterine lining. It did not look healthy. It was EXTREMELY thick and VERY bumpy. I don't just mean a little bumpy, some of the bumps were ginormous. (Sorry this is tmi) I should say my mom had to get both her ovaries removed in her mid thirties due to too many precancerous tumors. I guess my ultimate fear is ill need that done before I even get the chance to have a child with my fiancé. I just want some answers. The nausea, the bleeding, the weakness, the anxiety, the Asthma. It's too much to handle for me, and I just want to go back to work and be normal! I just want to me again too, no more quiet barely audible person.

Sounds like you're anemic because of the amount of blood you've lost. That might be causing the weakness. I'm not sure anyone on here can give you any real answers. Only the test results from your doctor will. I hope it all turns out okay for you and maybe they just need to put you on a certain birth control or hormone therapy. -
Thanks for your response. I kind of figured no one would really know. I just am so tired of the wait :/ that in itself is exhausting. Experiencing heavy bleeding, nausea, weakness, anxiety, and asthma. Negative Pap smear, awaiting ultrasound results. Concerns about uterine health, fertility, and family history of precancerous tumors. Seek urgent medical attention for answers, diagnosis, and [link removed by mod per link policy] to address your symptoms and overall well-being.Last edited by Wednesday L.F.; 05-17-2023, 01:30 PM.Comment
