Spotting as menstruation?
Hello! So, 6 weeks ago I started working out and about 2 and a half weeks ago I started cutting some calories. The day my menstruation shoyld have started, I began bleeding lightly. It was so light, that I didn't fill an entire tampon. This very light bleeding lasted for about 2 and a half days and then it slowly turned into a reddish-brownish secretion, that lasted up to day 7. This past months, I had signs of physical excess, like pulled muscles and shin splints, so I guess that this "spotting" is due to my new work-out regimen, but I would like some advice from you?
Thanks! -
It sounds to me it is most likely from working out. When you start to add in more exercise and change your diet it affects your body in different ways causing different effects for different people, most common in women being changes in their cycles. Give it another cycle or two to get back to normal
