    Painfully tight

    Hi guys,

I masturbated earlier (first time in ages, massive improvement on my libido =]), and I realised how tight I actually am.

I always knew I was tight, I was a virgin till about a year ago (haven't had sex since), and it was excruciating. Whenever I masturbate I usually just insert one finger as it's all I really need. However I tried two just to check, and it was really hard work.

I had to put them in and out very very slowly, and it feels like the whole 'tunnel' is just wider than a finger and feels really really tight at the opening of the vagina.

My boyfriend is obviously a lot lot thicker than my finger, and I can't see me ever enjoyig sex because we can't physically do it because there just isn't room.

Is there something I can do to improve this? Can I 'stretch' my vagina by masturbating more often and using more fingers?

I don't see how I could ever give birth, amazing how most women manage it.

As a side note, if you found this thread offensive, I'm sorry but it's a fact of nature.

    Thanks!

    Anon,

The purpose of the forum is to share and learn. I see nothing offensive, just a person needing some advice or tips

Sometimes we seem tighter when we place focus on the issue. Past experiences that were painful and/or fear of pain in the future makes it more difficult for us to let go and relax. It may help to use an over the counter lubricant, first with your fingers and perhaps later with a small to average dildo. Finding out that you can be penetrated without pain may help you to relax.

I've been married for several years and have had two children and even now if there is not sufficient lubrication (naturally or artifically), penetration can be uncomfortable. You are in control when you masterbate. If you feel pain, you can control the depth of penetration so as not to hurt yourself. In time and with practice, maybe you will feel more comfortable and prevent tensing up, which makes things tighter.

You can also try creating a comfortable environment, perhaps soaking in a hot tub of water to help relax your body or making sure that you are alone so that you can explore without fear of being discovered. I'm sure you get the idea

Self-discovery should be pleasurable because you are in control of you destiny. Good luck and hopefully some of this will help

Hi Euphroic, thank you very much for replying!

It makes me feel better knowing that even after having kid's you're still tight. I sortmof thought you could stretch your vagina and make it stay that way.

I feel so weird and strange inside (I realise I sound like a 12 year old, but I'm actually 20), using two fingers was uncomfortable and I felt sore afterwards.

Also, I cannot use tampons. I've tried multiple time, and it's completely painful, uncomfortable and annoying; it wouldn't even stay up there

The soreness could have been caused by friction from not being lubed well as opposed to the thickness of your fingers. The body is normally very accomodating with regular use. Even so, a lot of lube is highly recommended.

As far as tampons, if you aren't used to using them then you may be pushing them out by bearing down unconsciously. Also, the size (junior, regular, and super) can make a difference. Maybe you were using a tampon that was too large.

Try using lube and see if that helps ease things along without pain. I think you will notice a difference

My doctor reccomended lube with a tampon, I always thought that the lube would repel the liquid rendering the tampon useless.

Even if I use a lot of lube when it comes to sex and whatnot it's still painfull, no matter how turned on I am

Yes, you can definitely stretch the vagina! You can even buy vaginal dilator sets that have pieces of varying sizes, that you can slowly and progressively move up to larger sizes. Fingers aren't actually great, because they're not very smooth and two fingers next to each other makes an awkward long flat shape. Dilators are a nice, smooth, round shape that will glide a lot easier.

My vagina is VERY tight if I don't have sex for a few weeks, and I even got a dildo at one point to try to keep it stretched. It also helps to use lubricant. It will definitely stretch eventually, and you'll even notice a lot more loose skin around the opening.
