    FREAKING OUT any advice insight

    Hi
I appreciate any advice or insight

I recently got diagnosed with breast cancer . it is early, but still worried because there has been some cruddy delays, that they tell me will be fine, but THEY DONT have something growing in their body that is NOT supposed be there. Therese more but I'm actually now worried about something else

My periods have never been the most accurate. But last few years less so, and get more symptoms like serious breast pain for quite awhile before period, and often but not always spotting for day or two or 4 days before period. Never had an abnormal pap, and I was told jokingly welcome to your forties. They are going to test me for the BRCA genes . but regardless I'm still at higher risk for ovarian. On an off bloated but because of medication for another issue I often have to take medication to go to the bathroom so that probably is the cause. What I've described above, has been several years now

Well this month, period started a bit early I think with no warning and seemed heavier.. thought it was over abruptly used no tampon, was fine, one day later started up. Then it ended and still spotting 6 days later.

Went to urgent care and he is ordering an ultrasound and bloodwork. But the bloodwork is only for hug serum and I am not pregnant, for sure

Am I just being paranoid? Getting old and starting perimenopause?(sp??) no unexplained weight loss or weight gain ( only weight gain is Starbucks related lol) he was pushing all over my belly, abdomen etc, no pain. I have been more stressed than I ever have in my life and that's saying ALOT. Not just the cancer tho of course....

I feel guilty as others have it worse, and totally vain as I'm worried how my body will look after. Never thought I was that vain till now...

    Hi Lisa,

    What a wonderful attitude.

I think in my opinion, stress plays such a huge part in our lives. With that I believe illnesses occur, pregnancy doesn't happen, perimenopause occurs.

You need a ying and yang thing happening. To calm down breathe in and out, find things you like forget anything negative and concentrate n positives.

Life is too short right ?

PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!

I agree I believe stress has plenty to do with it and can throw off your body's cycle so just take it easy you will be fine

You are going through something incredibly stressful right now honey, I think the main thing is that you are just scared. I can imagine there are a million and one things going through your head and NO there is no reason for you to feel guilty at all. It is ok to feel whatever it is you are feeling. GOOD LUCK I wish you the best.
