Hormonal Imbalance
Hello! I just wanna share my concern and read some opinions, thank you! 3 Months ago in January I unnecessarily took the morning after pill, which was a bit of a monster to me since I am a virgin (they told me I could still get pregnant without penetration if it was close). I have friends who took it and nothing ever happened to them but here is what happened to me: first month I was good and experienced no side effects... but then, when it was time to get my period in february I experienced so much pain before it came, and then when it came it was worse. I've always been regular and pain free. I spent 2 months in pain throughout the month, even out of the period... since I live on my own and I have no family close it's been tough to me. I went to the doctors, and had checks, ultrasound and everything was ok. I got more than one opinion from obgyns who said it wasn't caused merely by the pill but I had nothing serious. I finally found an obgyn who convinced me. Of course, I have a bad hormonal imbalance and that's what she thought too so she put me on the pill. It was hard for me to make that decision since I was scared as hell of pills, but I am now on yasminelle. I still have something that bothers me in my pelvic area put they say it may take some time though. I really hope it helps me with this issue. Do you think that, if I get better, I could leave the pills later on?. Hope it's not endometriosis or anything. Thanks for reading and responding in advance. Have a great day :-) -
I had polycystic ovary and my ob-gyne prescribed me to take pills to regularize and normalize my menstruation. I had 3 months lapses of monthly period and more. I have regular transvaginal ultrasound for 3 consecutive months to monitor my ovary. Thank GOD I am okay now. Daily exercise and relaxation did great help.Live life to the fullest...
