Does anyone else get this? How long do you spend thinking about it? I just want to know whether the amount I worry is normal, because worrying about the worrying is adding extra stress, if you know what I mean!

Leaking worries
When I'm on my period I find it quite hard to stop worrying about leaking through my pad, even though my flow isn't particularly heavy and it happens quite rarely. My best friend says I'm just being paranoid but I reckon I can spend as much as 30 minutes per day just worrying about it.

I used to bleed through a heavy tampon and heavy pad every 40-60mins for the first 2 days of my period. I leaked in to my pants many times so it was always a huge concern. I don't think I had any unstained underwear. I would layer the thin pads side by side and end to end and then stick a thick pad on top of it and then put in a tampon. I tested many ways to make a pad out of toilet paper because of emergencies and eventually often had 5 or 6 tampons, several thin pads, and a thick pad shoved in to my jean pockets at all times. After I got on birth control I still would take any opportunity to go check the backup pad I wore even with a tampon. Finally with going on seasonique I don't really have periods so I mostly ignore it or forget. I have 1 or 2 days not always consecutive of very light bleeding and that's it.Comment
