Strange Bump, Itching, and Lots of Discharge. Please help ASAP...

So I'm 17, really shy with things like this, but I'm worried.
So around a week or two ago, I find this little bump on my labia minora, smaller than a pea. It was uncomfortable to touch, a little sore, so it made wiping after urinating a little painful. A couple days pass and the bump's still there, but it doesn't hurt anymore. I did a little internet surfing and just thought it was a pimple. Days pass by, it's a bit bigger, now the size of a pea, and I start to feel some discomfort. I take a look and I THINK there's a much, much smaller bump there. This week it hasn't been hurting, but now I've been getting an irregular amount of discharge. It's constantly there, my underwear is wet 24/7 and the discharge is cloudy white. Then the past few days, I've been feeling some irritation and itchiness on the outer part of the labia majora. It's the kind of itchiness where you don't notice it unless something rubs against it, then it's on fire and you HAVE to itch, but it's never satisfied.
I'm not sexually active, but I do masturbate outside my underwear if that helps any. And my menstrual cycle is about a week away.
I've considered talking about it with my mom, but I want to get an idea of what's going on first.

Have you been on antibiotics recently?

Changed to different tampons or pads? To me it sounds like it may be a yeast infection. Also it probably was a zit or inflamed pore. I have a glad that gets inflamed every so often.

I haven't changed my pad brand. That sounds plausible, this is the first time anything like this has ever happened (the bump anyways).

The problem is it could be a yeast infection or a bacterial infection. Treatments available without a doctor can make things worse if you treat the opposite of what you've got. You really need to see a doctor the first time you get symptoms of an infection to sort out what's going on. Often after that you then know what that type of infection feels like and you can try otc yeast treatments if that is the problem or take steps to lessen a bacterial issue if that is the problem. Everyone seems to be prone to one or the other, unless you are really unlucky and get both off and on. Of course since my mom doesn't really believe in going to the doctor when I got my first infection I just tried a yeast treatment and waited to see if it got better or worse. Seems I got lucky and get yeast infections treatable without a doctor. It's really not the best way to figure out what the problem is though.

The bump could be completely unrelated. Getting a blocked up pore or small cyst in that area is common. They come and go and sometimes break open but it's usually not too bad. However it could point to some type of irritant that might also cause a vaginal infection or the reverse where the infection existed first and caused the bump before you realized anything was going on. Changing shampoo, conditioner, or soap/body wash is another thing that can bring on problems down there. The company that makes the herbal shampoo and conditioner I use puts out a rosemary version that made me completely breakout and get all itchy. I can use their lemon or the lavender formulas though.
