A few days ago I started having random pains mostly towards the right side of my vagina. It does not feel like it is deep inside my vagina but rather just below the surface. They come and go throughout the day. Then twice today I experienced a sharp shooting pain in what seems to be my clitoris. I have no idea what these pains are. I had unprotected sex about a week ago (I am on birth control pills though) and I don't know if this is an STD or not. I don't feel any bumps and I am not having any unusual discharge or burning with urination. No pain in my stomach area either. I know you all are probably going to tell me to go to the doctor to get checked but my insurance will not cover me getting tested for STDs again this year. I'm just wondering if any women have experienced the same thing? If so PLEASE let me know. Any input would be appreciated.

Was the sex particularly rough? Any irritation afterward, or were you possibly not well lubed the whole time?

Well I guess I should mention I had sex last Friday, after that my vagina was sore for a couple days which it does get sometimes if I'm not lubed enough. That went away and I had sex with the same guy on Sunday. I felt fine for a few days until I noticed these pains on Wednesday.

My guess would be some general irritation hon, see if it doesn't go away in a few days. Did you by chance have anything involved that you might have been allergic to or just didn't agree with, toys or flavored lube or anything like that?

Nope, nothing like that was involved. I'm just worried because irritation I get from sex usually is just a general soreness around my vaginal area, but this is more like random sporadic pains. But thank you for your input.

Sometimes our vajays are a mystery lol ....hopefully it'll go away but if it doesn't, check back in and maybe someone else will have some different ideas. Hugs, you'll be okay.
