Hi my name is Jill,
I have to have a Laparoscopy done on February 13 My OBGYN wants me to drink this medicine to clean out my bowel. Has any one had to drink any thing to clean out there bowels. The real reason is when I had a colonscopy I had to drink this medicine to clean out my bowels half way drinking the stuff I got sick to my stomach and started throwing. Also I have to have a pre-opt physical for my Laparoscopy surgery . Does any one know what kind of physical I would have to have for my Laparoscopy surgery. This is my first time ever having this kind of surgery Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi jacloss.

Just a thought about the bowel cleanser. Have you talked to your doctor about your previous bad experience with it? Maybe there's some alternative. I'm sure that there are other patients that also have difficulty tolerating it...What does a doctor do? Just something for you consider and discuss with your doctor.

When I had a laporoscopy the doc had me take a couple laxatives and then an enema a few hours later. (the night before the surgery).
