How can I stop my milk flowing from my breast?

    Dear All:
I'm a 24yrs divorced lady from Iraq. I was seperated from my former husband a year ago after 8months of marriage. We made no child. Until now, I'm suffering from overflowing milk continuously leaks from my breast. How can I stop it? It is so disquieting.
    Plz advise.
    thnk u in advance
    gratefully yours

    hello fatima,
well it does take a bit of time for your milk to stop coming in. i nursed 2 of my children and had to dry up after. what i did was i just ceased on nursing. my breasts got very ingorged and they were hard as rocks. all i did was just pump them just enough to relieve myself of the pressure and i wore a tight fitting sports bra to keep them kind of bound up in a sense. the less milk you express the less your body is going to make and eventually you will dry up.

are you pregnant right now? or just recently had a child. i didn't quite understand if your saying your pregnant or recently gave birth. if your just pregnant i don't think there is much you can do about milk in your breasts until after you give birth.
