It sounds to me you have a bacterial infection which can sometimes happen after intercourse. I had one and never knew it until I went for my yearly and they did an urinalysis. The doctor told me they were very common and gave me some gel to use and it cleared right up. I suggest you go to your doctor and ask them about it. Good Luck!

First of all, every woman has a slight smell to their discharge which is normal. If it were a bad smell from bacteria, believe me, you would know. The smell from a bacterial infection (bacterial vaginosis) smells very foul and "fishy". Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) is not accompanied by itching. It only smells bad. So I think it is safe to probably rule out a bacterial infection.
Since you have some itching and an increase in discharge, this leads me to believe that you may actually have a common yeast infection. Yeast infections are known for itching and sometimes redness, but they do not cause a bad odor. You can get non-prescription medications such as Vagisil or Monistat from the grocery store to treat this. They vary from 1 to 7 day treatments and often come with a separate cream to help with the itching.
Also, a woman's discharge changes throughout her cycles. It varies from clear and thin, white and thick, to yellow and thick. You should only be alarmed at changes in your discharge if it turns a greenish/yellow color and/or becomes excessive and has an odor.
Since you sweat so much, you should also wear loose clothing and only cotton panties to allow more air flow down there. The hotter and sweatier it gets, the more infections you will get.
To be on the safe side, you should see a gynecologist.Comment

Bacterial Infection
Hi! I have been having repeated yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis. I did not have these infections until I started having sex with my current boyfriend. We have been together for 10 months and during the 10 months, I have had 3 yeast infections and 2 bacterial infections. That is a total of 5 infections within a 10 month span. Before I was with my current boyfriend, I had infections maybe once a year if that, it was very rare. If anyone can offer me any advice, I would like to know if my boyfriend is causing me to have repeated infections? The doctor told me that my boyfriend was not the problem, but I am having a hard time believing that. I think my boyfriend is the cause of me having the infections because I did not experience this until I was with him. Please help me with this. If I am wrong, please let me know.Comment
