Keep the faith. I am going through someting similar--but I'm passing clots (like every 15 minutes) for the last 44 days. I went to the doctors office today and it seems like GYN's in the DC area slept through class because they just smile at you, put their hands on your knee and say it will get better.
As if they are bleeding 24-7. I have been placed on hormone therapy and it doesn't seem to work.
What works--I went to a day spa and told the massage therapist that I was having cramps and heavy bleeding. I don't know if she knew any acupuncture but she applied pressure is certain points and I have had no pain and the bleeding has slowed. Miracle cure--I don't know but for now its working. -
If your tests confirmed you had a thyroid problem, you might concider going to see an endocrynologist (someone who specializes in that). My mother had a thyroid problem too and had to see a specialist. She ended up having to have her thyroid irradiated and then put on meds, but she is happy she did. There are medications to help that as well. It is not something that should be left untreated. Some times doctors can be really unreliable. Don't expect them to do everything they say they will. You really need to be on their case. It's your body and no one will look out for it better then you!
Also, if you are anemic, then the doc should have told you what to do to reverse that. I believe you need more iron in your diet. If I remember correctly.Comment
