I have not gone through IVF myself, although I have a friend who went through a few rounds of it. Hers was unsuccessful and they eventually adopted, though.
I think the biggest tip I have is to find ways to manage your stress and expectations. Between the hormones, the process, and the hope, the emotional stress can be a lot to carry. So make sure you've got people you can talk to. I wish you luck with it! -
