    question on tampons

Is their a recommendation on what type of tampons can be used?
Lately after menstruation i have seen particles of felts coming out on normal discharges, I have heard that this particles that stay in your body can cause either cancer or cyst. Is that true? i dont like wearing pads.

        choices about tampons

You can buy "environmentally-friendly" tampons that are not bleached, etc.

          No, It can not.
Whatever particles are left over in your uterus are cleaned out by your discharge.
Not to mention, Cancer is caused by the over-production of useless cells. Why would a bit of felt cause that?
And cycts are little vacuoles filled with lipids, so wouldn't worry about tampons causing those either.

I use Playtex gentle glide in the pink box. They are not oversized like Tampax and they are smoother so they are very comfortable. I have never had a problem with anything coming out of me when using these. I have been using them for about 8 years.

I used OBs. I started with the small trainee kind, as my mother never
let me use them. When I was about thirty six, (six years after my
third child) I tried a tampon for the first time, (my mother had suggested
it would interfere with my virginity, but after so many years of marriage
and kids, I didn't think that mattered any more). I soon migrated to the Super...

I never had any problems with them, they're small and you push them
                  in with your finger.

Having gone into menopause about five years ago, I don't use
                    this stuff any more...but when I did, I didn't have a problem...
although I did when I tried to use the cup...I couldn't get it
                    out...
